Campaign: Cycling and the Law
June 2004
Following the Court Case experience, letters have been sent to the Chief of Police, the Vice-Chair of the Police Services Board, and the City Solicitor for their consideration and intervention to redress the lack of knowledge and disregard police officers have of the Municipal By-Laws on traffic infractions which affect cyclist and driver collisions and fatalities as a result of it.
Regardless of the city or town you live in examination of this issue should be considered and pursued by cycling groups and advocates of cycling commuting.
